The Jazz have made their QO to free agent forward Jeremy Evans. So, Gordon Hayward may get his BFF for another year. Of course gathering up all of these cheap parts (DeMarre Carroll, Jeremy Evans, and Jamaal Tinsley) could be so that we have parts to use in future trades around the trade dead line.
I don't know.
But it's all pretty exciting times here in Jazz land. We have the right to match any offer for Evans. That doesn't mean we will. There's a lot of work to do on this roster still. But if this means we're on our way to divorcing ourselves from some of the less vital parts from 2011-12 then we are indeed making the right moves forward.

PS. As an aside, we're almost finished with our roster moves, and it's not even July yet . . .
