The solution to all of our problems is right here! Not only does this deal make perfect complete sense, it's a very easy deal to make. "Big Al" and "Iggy" both have similar contracts, making the swap very much doable. The Jazz have been in search for a quality SF for some time now and Iggy is the answer. Al Jefferson is expendable as they have Derrick Favors itching to make his way into the starting lineup, and let's face it, he's no bench player and Paul Milsap is no SF. Iggy provides much needed defense the team lacks and gives a nice perimeter game, something they've been missing for a long time. Iggy is also a great floor general, meaning he or Mo Williams can take the ball up the court. Let's not forget about Gordon Hayward, another fantastic ball handler and defensive presence. This deal would give the Jazz that much needed push over the hump to be a very competitive team for years to come. Defense wins games, something Al Jefferson isn't very good at (he's too slow).
Let's take a look at the potential starting lineup after this deal..
C- Derrick Favors
PF- Paul Milsap
SF- Andre Iguodala
SG- Gordon Hayward
PG- Mo Williams
6th Man- Alec Burks
Looks pretty nice to me! Lots of great defenders and great shooters. What do you all think? Should the Jazz contact the Sixers about the availability of Iggy or should we stay pat and hope Marvin Williams can play?
