Would Jonny Flynn be a good young pg pick up?

I posted a reply on the thread of Is there another trade on the horizon? (http://www.slcdunk.com/2012/7/18/3168228/is-there-another-trade-on-the-horizon) and agreed that we should try to find a pg for the future. I wondered though if we had to do it via trade.

There was interest according to this post (http://www.onlinebasketballbetting.net/nba-trade-rumors-jonny-flynn-on-market-rockets-blazers-jazz-interested/) in getting Jonny Flynn and NBA.com still reports that he is an UFA. Could he be a reasonable FA pick up? Or do we try to get him by trading Raja or signing and then trading CJ?

Flynn has been hurt or underperformed in previous years and had inconsistent minutes, but his Eff. last season according to NBA.com was at +4.93 which seems good enough. At least it is better than Jamaal's. The key here is that he’s still very young at 23 years and can surely develop behind Mo, Earl, and Jamaal. Given that he has come off the bench before, he probably won’t mind that role for a year or two. Finally, he could learn to gel with our other young players. Right now, I do hope our Jazz try to pull something like this.

I’m new here, but what do you guys think?
