Passing the ball is a key part of playing Jazz Basketball. Mandatory Credit: Soobum Im-US PRESSWIRE
We just looked at the numbers for the three year trends in both scoring off of cuts, and shooting spot up jumpers. Both of those play types used to be very solid bread and butter plays to the meat and potatoes of our Jazz offense that used to be the pick and roll. Yes, It's lunch time and I missed breakfast. The Jazz went out and got three great spot up shooters, and seem to have removed the bad ones. We took a look at it here. The Jazz were always good at scoring off of Cuts, but do not do this enough. We talked about that and possible playbook changes here.
Are we back to playing "Jazz Basketball" with either of these two offensive plays?
