The last Utah Jazz player to make an All-NBA Defensive team was Andrei Kirilenko (who did it 3 times in the mid 2000s). The last one before AK-47 was Karl Malone, who did it in the 1998/99. The last time John Stockton did it, it was 1996/97. And the last time someone other than John or Karl did it was Mark Eaton waa-aaay back in 1987/88. Statistically we're kind of due. Though, on the court, we're still a few years from having an All-NBA Defender type be recognized as having All-NBA quality defense.
