I used to play ball at the Van Winkel Gold's Gym about twice a week in the Summer of the Lockout. That's where I saw CJ Miles. He was just shooting on one of the side hoops. I was the only person in the gym who recognized him. I talked about how the lockout sucked, and he was gracious enough to take a picture with me (and subsequently everybody else in the gym). He even watched our pickup game. I thought that was really chill of him- an NBA player just hanging out at a local SLC court, and not being a prick. No entourage or anything, just his girlfriend. As maddening as his inconsistency could be, he's just a nice guy, y'know? And I hope no-one boos him tonight.
