I've been keeping track of some stats about the Jazz's record and wanted to share those with you. To me it feels like the Jazz are starting to put things together and are going to break-out a bit.

However, in looking at the record, this season-to-date is fairly reminiscent of last year's overall record. For instance, we finished last year at 36 Wins and 30 Losses (a winning percent of .545) and this year, at the half way mark, we are 22 Wins and 19 Losses (a winning percent of .537; that projects to 35 Wins and 31 Losses in a 66 game year - 44 Wins and 38 Losses in an 82 game year).

• At the end of last year we had Points For of 99.7 and Points Against of 99.0

A Look at Our Home Record

• 13 Wins, 4 Losses
• Points For 102.1, Points Against 95.3
• At the end of last year we had Points For of 101.9 and Points Against of 95.9
• Against teams with a record of less than .600 we have 11 Wins, 0 Losses
• Against teams with a record of .600 or more we have 2 Wins, 4 Losses
• At the end of last year we had 19 Wins and 4 Losses against teams with a record of less than .600; and we had 6 Wins and 4 Losses against teams with a record of .600 or more

• At the end of last year we had Points For of 97.4 and Points Against of 102.2
• Against teams with a record of less than .500 we have 8 Wins, 4 Losses

I want to point out that we went on a tear at the end of last year to get to the 36 Wins and 30 Losses, and it seemed that last season we had to come from behind quite a bit more than we've had to this year; in fact, this year we are learning how to hold on to a lead. So for whatever reason, founded or unfounded, this season seems different than last.
