Someone make me feel better.

Guys. I'm really worried. I'm worried that our front office is going to make another huge mistake. One that I will never forgive them for. I was quiet when we traded Ronnie Brewer. I made excuses defending KOC when we let Wesley Matthews leave to Portland. When Korver got traded I... I actually didn't care. BUT. If we don't re-sign DeMarre Carrol when his contract expires, and let him walk to some other team, I will go into beast mode and literally tweet some very mean things at members of the Jazz organization.

But for real guys, I can feel it. We are not going to see DMC in a Jazz uniform when his contract expires. He has been playing quite well DESPITE averaging around 16 mpg, and teams take notice of that kind of effort. Every team needs a relatively cheap guy who plays great defense, hustles and has dreadlocks. I love DeMarre Carrol with all my heterosexual heart. Having a guy on your team who actually plays his hardest in every possession is invaluable, and contagious, and it's motherfucking fun to watch.

Here's the thing. DMC is making less than $1 million dollars a year. Come free agency, he is going to be getting some pretty lucrative offers from teams everywhere. I don't know about you guys, but I can see DMC being offered a 3 year, 12 mil contract at the very minimum.

I'M SCARED, GUYS. I don't want to be stuck with 3 more years of Marvin Williams and watch DMC's dreads grow long and beautiful on some other team. Am I crazy? Or have the jazz learned their lesson about cheap, overachieving players?
