As we all know, the jazz are a deep team, which is code for mediocre. They have far too many good players, and no great players. I think the Jazz would like to use their assets to bring a difference maker to the team that can carry the franchise on his back. Hoops hype is reporting that Memphis is quietly shopping Rudy Gay for some cap relief. This has been a rumor for the las two yeas that just won't go away, so I think it probably has some truth to it. I propse that the Jazz trade Milsap and Marvin Williams for Rudy Gay.
Memphise gets a respectable replacement for Gay in Williams, and an awesome backup PF to play behind their injury prone PF Randolph which will be vital for their playoff run this year. They also get cap relief from Gays massive contract.
The jazz get rid of their crowded front court problem and the disappointing Marvin Williams while adding a borderline superstar to their team.
The salaries match up perfectly.
What do ya think?
