First, our point guard play has got to be the worst in the league. Lucas is my new least favorite player and Harris is my most overrated Jazz man. Burke can't get healthy fast enough.
Second, I don't understand why Ty seems to have only one or two adjustments he can make in a game. I like that the Jazz big men seem to be the new bully on the block, however, look for even more teams to go small to take either Kanter or Favors out of the game.
Third, when will Hayward be our stretch 4?........If Parsons can do it, Hayward should be playing some 4 when teams go small or when the Jazz need to mix things up. We can stop with the idea of Harris being the answer to other teams small ball. I believe Jefferson has played some 4 as well.
Fourth, Corbin seems to have the creativity of a brick. I will give him a break in that he has three rotation players out right now so his options are limited. But why no zone, no small ball, and maybe more of Burks at the point for longer stretches would help our terrible point guard play. Hey maybe next game Corbin can go with Lucas the III as our starting point guard, that would be a switch now wouldn't it.
Fifth, It has been entertaining so far this season especially if you turn off the TV half way through the fourth quarter. 3 down 79 games to go till we get a good draft pick. So far I'd say the Jazz have made a good decision not to overpay Hayward. I'm not sure he's going to lead us to the promise land as our number 1 although we can't have enough 2 way players on this team. Kanter has a ways to go before he gets there......
I'm hoping the Jazz get a win before they get down on themselves and dump a number of games by a large margin. Maybe Bill and Jalen will be right if that happens because Corbin could be gone sooner rather than later if they don't start pulling out some of these close games. Any other observations so far Jazz fans??
