I was not a fan of the proposed San Antonio/Utah trade rumor that has been making the rounds this week, so I modified it a bit.

First off, this trade is not going to happen. I know it, you know it. Let's just accept that right now. But it's still fun to look at.

1. We get a point guard for the future. And as much as I hate Jackson, we need to take him to make this work. He's not sticking around for next year anyways. We clear up our logjam up front and next year could have a starting lineup of Kanter, Milsap/Favors, Hayward, Burks, and Bledsoe. That makes me giddy.

2. The Clippers get a decent backup point guard to replace Bledsoe and a new starting center/backup center for Jordan.

3. The Spurs get Big Al and a good backup small forward in Hill, who is retiring after his year.

Again, not going to happen. But still...thoughts?
