If Big Al is on the team next year, I will?

I'm getting the sneaky suspicion that Big Al is in the Jazz plans not only for the rest of this year but the future as well. Big Al for years to come? The Jazz like his ability to score, especially in the last few minutes of the game. The Jazz like the way he has changed his body and the work that he has put in to get better. The Jazz like Big Al the locker room guy and how he has mentored Enes & Favors. If you listen to the Jazz coaching staff, they aren't nearly as critical of Al's defense as fans are. I guess the question then becomes price? I'm not sure that the Jazz can pay Al as much as he is making this year unless it's a shorter deal. Would Jazz fans welcome Big Al with open arms if he made only 10 million a year? If he was a bargain? If you polled fans, most would probably say they like Big Al the person. What is not to like about his easy going personality? Lately, it seems that the ball isn't sticking as much in Big Al's hands as much as it did early in the season. Although 22 shots for 21 points isn't ideal, is Big Al someone you can build a team around? Are the Jazz short changing Big Al by paring him with the smaller Paul Milsap this year. If someone behind him covered up some of those defensive lapses would we care so much about his defense?

Is Big Al a power forward or a center? Needless to say, if you ever played the Karl Malone game, you've played the Al Jefferson game. Some love him, some hate him but he is a member of our Utah Jazz currently. My teenage son stated last night during the game if Big Al is on the team next year, I will become a fan of another team......I still don't see that happening as he was raised a Jazz fan through and through but you never know. Is Big Al partially responsible for the lack of attendance at Jazz games and the overall apathy of Jazz fans currently. Let's play the Big Al game. If Big Al is on the team next year I will...................
