I think a lot of teams would like to this off-season. Everyone's touted how deep and seeping with talent next year's draft is suppose to be, and when you actually start looking at most of the national talent (and some international talent), you soon realize a lot of specific players who could potentially be all-stars at some point in their NBA careers.
Possible 2014 Draft Outlook:
Andrew Wiggins SF
Jabari Parker SF
Marcus Smart PG
Julius Randle PF
Andrew Harrison PG
Isaiah Austin C
Aaron Gordon PF
Willie Cauley-Stein C
Glenn Robinson III SF
Wayne Selden PG
Look up the highlights or hoopmixtape or scouting report for each. Some things to note about Isaiah Austin:
- shooting long range and 3's (could turn out to be a stretch PF/C)
- handles (dude would dribble behind his back taking a guy one on one and Austin is 7'1 in shoes)
- 7'3 wingspan on top of 7'1 height happen to make alley-oops easier
Also, Marcus Smart, Andrew Harrison, and Wayne Selden might be some of the best PG's in next years draft, but I'm sure if Utah could end up with Andrew Wiggins, they'd take him (I'd say Wiggins is worth any one of our C4, maybe even 2 if the price is right).
Look for Austin's low command of the ball when he tries dribbling to back in his player. He also had a decently smooth perimeter shot and good ball instincts and weak side help.
Wayne Selden in high school. Man I really love the musical accompaniment in this mixtape:
