We got the salaries we needed to get to the league minimum salary. We got tons of future assets. We are all but guaranteed to see the Furious 5 get plenty of playing time and valuable experience together. The question is, will the team sign a couple more veterans?
Biedrins isn't likely to play a ton of minutes, as he's been all but invisible for two years. The team could definitely use a veteran big who can play 20 minutes a night.
Other than Burke, we don't have a PG on the roster (yes, we have Burks, but Corbin seems to hate giving him time at point). The team may decide to sign a veteran point guard.
So, here's a quick look at some of the veterans still available who might make sense from a money/minutes standpoint.
To me, the most intriguing options are Harris and Collison at PG, and Anderson, Kaman, and Hansbrough as the bigs.
Would you guys hate it, like it, or love it if we signed one or two of these guys to take up 10-20 minutes a night?
