Who could the Jazz land this offseason? Here is a list of the top 4 FA's this off season by position-
SG - D Wade / L Stephenson / R Allen / Avery Bradley
SF - LeBron / Carmello / L Deng / P Pierce
PF - Bosh / Nowitzki / T Duncan / Z Randolph
C - G Monroe / S Hawes / M Gortat / C Kaman
Obviously there are several players on this list that are NOT realistic options in Utah, but let's take a look at some 2nd tier names that might be a possibility.
PG - ok, K Lowry is on the list, but I don't think he is out of question here. D Collison is also being overshadowed in LA
SG - I've liked Evan Turner since he was drafted and feel he would fit well here. Who knows, T Sefolosha might be looking for a change in scenery as well.
SF - T Ariza is my favorite option here followed by D Granger or Shane Battier (if he fails to get a ring this postseason). There are several talented SF's to be had in the draftI at a much lower price tag. I don't see Utah spending the money to retain Hayward and pay a guy like Granger big money to ride the pine
PF- If we were looking to add a PF, we would have to part ways with Favs and pick up Z Randolph as the best option here. Hopefully Favs will continue to develop into a star and Evans can make some noise off the bench.
C- Sanders is the only PF / Center that really excites me.
Favorite targets - Lowry, Turner and Ariza (all nice scorers)
If we anticipate improving our defense, we should spend our dollars on Ariza and Sanders.
We could also package Clark, Evans and our 23rd pick for a top 10 selection (note I didn't say top 5)
Burke / (draft Smart or Exum) / or pick up Lowry
Burks / Turner
Hayward / Ariza
Favors / (draft Randle or McAdoo)
Sanders / Kanter / Gobert
In this scenario I chose to add a scoring PG in addition to Turner and Ariza over drafting Wiggins or Parker
