Despite a career-high 27 points and 14 rebounds from Enes Kanter, the Utah Jazz were outscored 40-19 in the third quarter en route to a 114-88 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday.

Milwaukee's Ersan Ilyasova finished with 31 points as the Jazz scored just six points in the first seven minutes of the second half. Kanter tallied his career high at the free-throw line late in the fourth quarter, but the game was never in doubt in the second half.

Honestly, guys I'd love to say more about this game, but there's just not a lot else to say. The Jazz were clearly tired and disinterested on the second night of a road back-to-back, especially after Sunday's hard-fought loss to Indiana. So...that's it. On to positives and negatives.

Three Positives

  • Enes! He was really fun to watch tonight and looked like one of the few players with any energy. The Bucks' big men struggled to keep him off the block, he got to the line a bunch, and he defended well in the first half, including when paired with Derrick Favors. He tailed off in the second half with the rest of the team, but kudos for his career-high.
  • ...........yeah, nobody else is getting a positive tonight.
  • But hey, we tricked the Bucks into winning a game! WHAT FOOLS THESE MILWAUKEE MORTALS BE.

Three Negatives

  • Everybody else.
  • Special demerits for Derrick Favors' two points and five rebounds in 19 minutes. An awful performance, especially against poor opponents.
  • I just...I can't, you guys. This game was so bad in the second half. If you've got the game on your DVR or something, just stop at halftime. Serious. Please.

And now, for a better, more competitive display of athleticism: I'm going to watch WWE Monday Night RAW.

(I'm being facetious. The first half was a genuinely fun watch, especially after yesterday's encouraging battle with the Pacers. The Jazz just ran out of steam. I expect us to bounce back in Washington. For now, I'll be happy with the improved draft position. For now.)
