Rejoice, ye sinners! Anthony Davis will indeed play tonight for the New Orleans Pelicans as they square off (squak off?) against the Utah Jazz. The Pelicans will still be Jrue Holiday, Eric Gordon, Ryan Anderson, and Jason Smith though -- so it's not going to be easy for them. Making it slightly less easy will be the fact that Brandon Rush (sore throat) and Andris Biedrins (Andris Biedrins) will not be playing. I fully well expect head coach Tyrone Corbin to shorten the rotation to match up with Monty Williams ' short rotation tonight.
It's called match-ups. If you were a head coach in the NBA you'd know a little something about it.
So with the health advantage, the less fatigue advantage, and the home court advantage we can assume the Jazz carry the day. It would take someone really special to find a way to bumble out of that.
Well, they still do have Davis and Tyreke Evans . . . so maybe it'll be a game after all?
