Tyronn Lue is an interesting name for a coaching position. He's been under Doc for 5 total years now (4 in Boston and 1 in LA)
He fits the the mold of a former player turned NBA coach. He was never great, but worked under a lot of great players and coaches throughout his career. He's running that Doc Rivers defense in L.A. which is something we could mold our roster around because we have two bigs (Kanter & Favors) like they do and an undersized PG in Burke.
Two interesting things about Lue.
1. Trey Burkes favorite player growing up was A.I. and everybody remembers A.I. breaking Lue's ankles and then stepping over him in the finals.
2. Lue wore jersey #10 throughout his entire NBA career which might make him (like fellow dunkers) love Alec Burks and play him based solely on his number. I can get on board with just that thought.
