Utah Jazz Preseason 2012-2013:

Someone is a nerd . . .

He's Points per Game vs. Points per Shot...

We have five players averaging more than 10.0 ppg (Enes Kanter, Paul Millsap, Marvin Williams, Mo Williams, and Gordon Hayward). We have a few players who are scoring at 1.00 pps ot less (Al Jefferson, DeMarre Carroll, Jamaal Tinsley, Randy Foye, Trey Gilder, and Brian Butch). And then we have a bunch of outliers . . .

Kevin Murphy, Chris Quinn, Darnell Jackson, and Jeremy Evans are all scoring well, but hardly shoot. Only two dudes are locked in a 'productive -- but meh' range: Derrick Favors and Alec Burks. Both above average in PPS, but not really doing it in PPG.
