Just thought I'd pass this along for those that are interested. First, I had no idea this event happened every year. But on Monday, December 21st, the Miller family will host the annual Christmas Sing-a-long at the Energy Solutions Arena. It's starts at 7 p.m. and is free to the public. No ticket is required. They're giving out a bunch of things for free.
Looks like it will be a good time. I'm sure it will be a very emotional night as it will be the first Christmas without Larry Miller there.

Here's the full text that I received:
On December 21st, the Miller family will again host the annual Christmas Carol Sing-A-Long-a favorite event of Larry's. Larry and Gail began taking their children when it was originally held at the tabernacle on Temple Square. Gail and her family want to continue this tradition in honor of Larry as well as to provide the community with a joyful Christmas experience.
The event will take place on Monday, December 21 at 7 p.m. at the EnergySolutions Arena. Doors will open at 6 p.m. Classical new age pianist and composer Jon Schmidt will make a special guest appearance. In the spirit of supporting the Miller family, I would personally like to invite you and your family to attend this community Christmas Carol Sing-A-Long. Bring your family, friends and neighbors...your church groups, community groups...bring them all!
The event is free to the public. No tickets are necessary and seating is general admission. Audience members are encouraged to participate in singing. Printed programs with song lyrics will be provided. We are providing the following for every person in attendance:
- Hot dog and soft drink
- 1 - Utah Jazz 2009-2010 game ticket
- 2 - Salt Lake Bees 2010 game tickets
- Free popcorn at any MegaPlex Theatre
- Buy one, get one free coupon for super go-karts at Miller Motorsports Park
In partnership with UTA, guests can ride TRAX free on December 21 from 5-10 p.m. to and from EnergySolutions Arena. Please visit rideuta.com and print a special ticket valid only on TRAX.
