When the Lakers come to town, they elicit all kinds of emotion.
Maybe it's a little more this year because this is LA's only stop at the ESA this season.
The Laker hatred, and believe me, I'm one of them, doesn't seem to be reciprocated. Laker fans don't hate the Jazz, they hate Jazz fans.
If you took a poll around the internet and asked who the worst NBA fans were, you would probably get Laker and Jazz fans at the 1 & 2 spots in no particular order.
Don't know where I was going with that.
Anyway, a Jazz win tonight would be sweet ending to the first half of an up and down year. We're starting to head back up and should have less downs to finish out the season. But a win tonight would catapult the Jazz confidence and restore some faith.
No matter what happens, we'll get a bit of a break and if all goes well, we'll start the unofficial second half of the season with all of our team back.
I'm opening this game thread a little earlier than normal.
