Lots of action last night pertaining to the Jazz. Of course they Jazz won 120-103 so anything else that happened was gravy. We'll turn it over to Booze again
PISTONS 87 @ HORNETS 90
NOLA looked like they were going to run away with this early. Detroit made a game of it by coming back in the second quarter. It was tight the rest of the game but Detroit couldn't quite get over the hump and Chris Paul finished them off. We're still tied with them.
BUCKS 96 @ MAVS 116
This one was never in doubt for the Mavs. The game was pretty much over at the half and Dallas keeps hanging on to that 8 spot and 1 1/2 games back of the Jazz.
HAWKS 109 @ NUGGETS 110
Another one that started out promising after the first. It looked like it was over after the third with Denver up 92-78. Atlanta tore up the last two minutes and had a chance to win it but Flip Murray missed a runner at the buzzer.
Josh Smith Joe Johnson looked like he could have driven to the basket instead of passing off to Murray. That would have been a sweet win.
BLAZERS 84 @ SPURS 99
Since we're probably not catching the Spurs, you'll have to root for them again. They took it to the Blazers. This is another sweet win in that it comes against one of our division rivals. We're just 1/2 game back of Portland now in the standings.
So here are the standings. We're 2 games up on 9th place PHX and 2 games out of fourth. The Jazz are one of the hottest teams in the league right now. This is a perfect time to get hot.
