While you were sleeping... 28 February 2009

While it doesn't feel like we've moved anywhere in the standings despite going 9-1 over our last 10, and 10-1 over February, we have gained on everyone.

As little as it is, we gained a game on LA. We've closed the gap on Denver to just 3.  Houston now is just a game in front.  And we've got a +3 on everyone else.

These last two months of basketball are going to be crazy for the Jazz.  With the schedule, it's going to be hard to overtake some teams late in the season.  They're going to have the play out of their minds.  We're going to need Boozer to get back in the flow of things.  Let's go to him now.

Booze, your reaction?

In the only other game of the night that impacts the Jazz, Chicago outscored the Rockets by 20 in the fourth quarter to stun the Rockets.  That 20 points came in the last 6 minutes!  The Bulls held the Rockets to just 3 points in that time frame.  Huge loss for the Rockets, one that could end up haunting them at the end of the year.

So with that loss, coupled with the Jazz win, Booze gives last night a big:

I'll have a precap (preview & recap of the  Kings game) up later this afternoon.
