Game Thread - Phoenix Suns @ Utah Jazz

The sun is staying out a little bit later here in Utah. I noticed for the first time this year when I left work that the sun hadn't set just yet.

We're also going to be seeing a lot of the Suns over the last half of the season. The Jazz have yet to play Phoenix on the season.

The guys are on the opposite ends of the spectrum when it comes to defensive and offensive ratings and that's just where they like it.

They're 1st in the league in offensive rating and 29th in defense. They'll let you score 2 as long as they get three.

As Clark mentioned in his preview, they started out hot on the road but they've been struggling away from home recently. They're just 9-14 overall on the road and have dropped 4 straight while not sleeping in their own beds.

So they're not going to put up much resistance when the Jazz run their offense. If we're patient, we should be able to get any shot we want. The trick will be slowing them down defensively, getting back on transition D, and getting the long boards from all of the threes that they jack up. They trail only the Magic and Knicks in 3PAs.

So if you're a fan of the early 90s battles between the Knicks and Heat, you're not going to see any of that. Should be a very entertaining game.
