It's hard to bring up how the Jazz have done against teams in the past and how they've done on road trips in the past because this team is so vastly different. We have a lot of the core players still here, we run the same offense, and we have the same coach.

It also seems to do me no good stating what a team's defensive rating is given that our offense overcame huge deficits against two of the best defenses in the league. Then in the same breath we talk about how Atlanta is one of the best offenses in the league, only to have the Jazz shut them down in the fourth quarter. They held the Hawks scoreless for the last 3 minutes of the game and didn't allow a field goal for the final 5 minutes.

So I feel it a little worthless for the time being trying to give you stats on the other team or how the Jazz have played against them in the past because frankly, they don't mean jack right now. This team is doing things right now, especially on this road trip, that we couldn't imagine. So I don't even want to pretend to know what's going to happen tonight.

Though I would no doubt be disappointed with a loss tonight, going 3-1 on this road trip would already far exceed our best expectations. What we know will happen though is that our team won't quit. They'll keep running the system and clamping down when they really need to.

We were expecting a different team this season and I think we have it.
