This is the second in a series of three sponsored posts about technology.

Since I can write anything I want with these sponsored posts, I'm going to ask you to help me decide what phone to get when I upgrade.

I've always considered myself on the cutting edge on most stuff.  I like hi-tech stuff as much as the next tech geek.  The problem I have though is cost.  I know that's the price to pay, but I don't like the product I buy to lose 75% of its value in three months.  There's always something bigger and better in a few months and that's what kills me.  A laptop I buy today will have twice as much for half the cost.

That's why I lust over the new smart phones.  I don't have a problem with the price of the phone itself, it's the additional data/messaging/web/video/anyextrafeeswecatackon costs that are associated with it.  I'm on an old plan where I got all of the included for cheap.  However,I'm finally going to bite the bullet though and upgrade.

So I'm looking for a smartphone that does high-res pics, video, all the bells and whistles.  What do you guys have and what would you recommend?  What would you stay away from?
