At the 22.2 mark in the Skills Challenge finals two years ago, Deron was rounding the last Jerry West mesh cutout, getting ready to lay it in for a record 25.5 seconds. This year, he got trapped at one of the chest-pass stations, taking 5 attempts to finally get it through the ring. That killed any chance he had at beating Steve Nash who had put up a 29.9 earlier.
Good practice for tomorrow where Deron should get quite a bit of PT at the PG and SG with the injuries. Do we see him in crunch time?
