Hello SLC Dunk, I'm Omaha Sun. I am a Suns fan and editor for Ridiculous Upside. I am currently in the process of writing a series for RU looking at the rookies and their place on their teams' rosters. I've previously written about Cleveland and Minnesota, and Utah is next on my list.
The reason I'm here is that I wanted to ask you guys a few questions.
I'm trying to figure out where Kanter and Burks fit into your rotation, but to do that I first need to sort out the depth chart from last year.
PF/C: Is it safe to say you guys are going to trade Millsap now? I'm assuming that's true considering you have Derrick Favors on the bench and almost traded Millsap to PHX last year (I wish that deal had gone down).
Al Jefferson would be extremely difficult to move, so I'd be surprised if that happened this year. Or am I wrong?
Does Okur have 1 year left on his contract? I can't remember when he signed that extension. What will be his role this year? Do you think he'll even stay healthy?
Wings: Is AK47 gone? If so, this is pretty easy to figure out. Without Kirilenko I see Hayward-Miles-Burks splitting the majority of the minutes at the 2 and 3 with Evans and Bell picking up the rest. If he sticks around, Miles will probably play mostly at SG cutting back in available minutes for Burks.
Finally, what kind of numbers and PT are you expecting from these 2?
Thanks for any responses guys. I have my own ideas, but I'm sure you guys are more familiar with the Jazz than I am.
