The Jazz finished off a three game home stand undefeated. Tonight they face off against the Golden State Warriors (2-5) in their library. Last season they won the season series 3-1, starting it off with a humiliation of the Jazz early on in the season. It was not a typical blowout, but it was a disgusting game to watch as a Jazz fan . . . if you don’t remember it, this may jog your memory. Their guards could do no wrong, and we didn’t play any defense. Golden State is the perfect team to capitalize on our lackluster starts and disinterested dribble penetration defense.

Golden State is still a guard oriented team, they don’t really have a lot of beef inside (sorry Andris Biedrins, Kwame Brown, Jeremy Tyler, Ekpe Udoh, and David Lee – I’d take Al Jefferson, Paul Millsap, Derrick Favors, and Enes Kanter over you any day). They are 22nd in the league in rebounds. We’re not really that much better though at 19th. The Jazz aren’t a great offensive team right now, and Golden State will be playing without one of the best, brightest young players in the game in Stephen Curry.

The game tips off soon, please be civil and polite. And let’s hope our players are not, and try to bring a bit of Swat Lake City to the Bay.
