Sap needs to find some of his lost Mojo tonight. He's back in his home state, and seems to be the only dude capable of checking Ryan Anderson. On one of the last plays of the game last time these two teams played Anderson got free and nailed a big shot. A think that was Sap's bad as he got lost. Sap was a big shot maker himself, and has proven to be that at home and on the road (he was the only dude making buckets in Philly, for example). The Jazz aren't doing anything this season without Millsap being a big part of it.

Since that Philly game (or that road trip, he had 34 against the Raptors, 20 against Boston, and 22 against Philly), he hasn't been killing it like we're used to.

  • @ Wizards: 6 points, 2/13 shooting, 10 rebounds, 2 assists
  • vs. Rockets: 10 points, 44.4 fg%, 8 rebounds
  • vs. Kings: 10 points, 44.4 fg%, 1 rebound
  • @ Kings: 13 points, 36.5 fg%, 8 rebounds
  • vs. Nuggets: 5 points, 40.0 fg%, 5 rebounds

It's not just a minutes thing either, however Derrick Favors is proving himself to be capable in replacing some of Millsap's reduced production. The Jazz need Sap to get back on track. We're going to have zero wins in this next 3 games in 4 nights stretch without him.
