So far in his very young Utah Jazz career Al Jefferson has played in 142 out of a total possible 147 games. He played all 82/82 last season. And with one game remaining to play this season he's missed only 5. And the majority of those games were missed due to attending his grandmother's funeral. So, right now he has played in (including the excused games he missed because of family situation) 96.6% of all games he could have played in. I don't want to make my calculator sad by figuring out the relative % of games played in a Jazz uniform by Carlos Boozer, Mehmet Okur, and Andrei Kirilenko. But I am certain that it wasn't approaching 97% like Big Al.

This is, of course, yet another of the growing list of reasons why Al Jefferson rocks.

Oh, and let's not forget that in the pre-season LAST SEASON he injured his shooting hand and he didn't even miss a single game for it, he just played the entire season on a hand he hurt before the games even counted. Carlos Boozer used to get long term injuries DURING the pre-season to unessential parts of his body.

God Bless Al. And Science bless him too!
