NBA Playoffs 2012 Jazz Vs. Spurs - See Amar do dumb things!

Hey all, it's playoffs time. And the Utah Jazz are in the playoffs. And I write for a Utah Jazz blog. So that means I was lucky enough to be asked to participate in a bunch of really fun things the last few days. I'm really grateful to everyone for considering me for this honour. Similarly, I think our Jazz team is really happy to make the playoffs this year. Of course, the Jazz and I both are not content with baby steps; alas sometimes you have to start with just baby steps.

Our Jazz may not end up winning the title this year. And clearly I have a lot to learn about participating with these new fangled forms of media. (Like "don't sit too close to the web camera, It will make you look like a camel.") Anyway, here's what I've been up to of late:

  • Rey-Rey (@TheNoLookPass) at The No Look Pass asked me to write a little something about our Jazz, and I was more than happy to oblige. You can read it here! It was a blast to do, and I only wish the next time Rey asks me to write something our team is greater than the #8 seed. Also, you should check out TheNoLookPass.com
  • The Guys at IGoHardNow (@IGOHARDNOW) invited me to get into it with Spurs Blogger Aaron McGuire (@docrostov), for a Podcast recorded and moderated by Angelo Benedetti (@AngeloCLE). You can listen to it here! [37:37] Please note that there are some NSWF words being tossed around in this 'no holds barred' chat about how Matt Bonner is a Jazz killer; how Boris Diaw's gravitational pull will ground Jeremy Evans; and where we reveal secrets about each other. It was a lot of fun, but I'm pretty sure my Skype computer program hates me. The feeling is mutual though. Check out IGOHARDNOW.com and Aaron's blog GothicGinobili.com
  • Last, and most certainly least, was the video I just recorded with Super Coach Nick (@bballSource) that pitted SBN sites SLCDUNK and Pounding the Rock against one another. I was asked to represent the site, the network, and I guess the Jazz -- so I tried my best. PtR was represented by the super nice JR (@poundingtherock). The Spurs may have our number, and be the better team right now but I tried to give him a spirited fight. Thanks again to Coach Nick, and our brothers over at PtR. Here's the video.

Also I may or may not be embedding this so you don't see all the mean things
