The Utah Jazz, riding high right now with a series of solid wins despite missing one or two rotation players, have decided not to blow things up. Jazz front office executives either were in love with the product on the court as is, or no greater offer existed, decided not to make a move "just to make a move." Small market teams need to make smart moves. With so many expiring deals (Al Jefferson, Paul Millsap, Mo Williams, Randy Foye, DeMarre Carroll, Jamaal Tinsley, Earl Watson, and Raja Bell) the team will be flush with cash in an increasingly penny pinching NBA thanks to the latest CBA.
While the Jazz did not make a big move, or a flashy move . . . they also did not hurt themselves. Sometimes it's better to be cautious than cavalier.
