Woo, some of these races are getting tight!
And here we go...
.
.
The Good:
- It was reported that Tyrone Corbin will be our head coach next year
.
.
The Bad:
- The Memphis Grizzlies lost at home to the Los Angeles Clippers. This impacts the "Race for #3" and also the Race for #8, as it means the Grizz may still be going to play hard in the last game of the regular season: Utah Jazz @ Memphis Grizzlies.
.
.
The 'Meh':
- The Minnesota Timberwolves beat the Phoenix Suns
.
.
Tonight:
Tonight the San Antonio Spurs will host the Los Angeles Lakers -- this is a big game. The Denver Nuggets will play at the Portland Trail Blazers. The Houston Rockets will host the Sacramento Kings. And the New Orleans Hornets will host the Dallas Mavericks.
.
.
The Races:
- Race for #1: OKC (2 games left) has a 0.5 game lead on
SAC (3)SAS (3), they both have the same number of losses The Spurs will be playing the Kobe Bryant -less Lakers tonight, and that win will probably make them want to "go for it".
- Race for #3: DEN (3), Mem (2), and LAC (2) are all right there. DEN is ahead by 0.5 games and MEM AND LAC are tied, with LAC winning last night and getting (I think) the tie breaker. All three teams are still in contention for this spot.
- Race for #6: GSW (2) and HOU (3) are separated by 0.5 games right now. They have the same number of losses. The Rockets play the Kings tonight in Houston.
- Race for #8: LAL (2) is ahead of Utah (2) by 0.5 games, and they play the Spurs tonight. Woo!
