NBA Draft 2013: Draft Night Open Thread

Hey all, the least I can do is start the draft night thread -- even if I'm not going to be there at home to participate like you guys can. Tonight is the big night. So many of us Utah Jazz fans care about the draft. I guess part of that is the fact that we know there are only three ways you can get a star in the NBA: through trades, through free agency, and through the draft. And honestly, as a Utah Jazz fan we know that only one of those options is remotely possible. And the Jazz franchise know this too, and know that if they want to be relevant they have to have a star. They may have one on the roster now, but they didn't really give themselves a chance to figure that out yet.

So, we have three picks tonight.

Jazz receive Trey Burke from Timberwolves in return for #14 and #21 pick

Jazz receive rights to Rudy Gobert from Nuggets in return for #46 pick and cash
