Who cares?
Lakers are roaming freely across our league. Unchecked, unchallenged, flopping at will. Lakers bearing the gold & purple mark of the black mamba.
Open training camp is upon us whether you like it or not.
This is why we post obscure training camp signings at 1:30 a.m.
Brandon Fortenberry will be in Salt Lake next week for training camp as announced by the Lions' twitter feed late last night
Congrats to former Lion Brandon Fortenberry on going to mini-camp with the Utah Jazz. #BF5 #LionNation #LionUp #SELU

.The Southeastern Louisiana PG put up solid number in his senior in college with 14.6 PPG, 4.5 RPG, and 2.8 APG. The 2013 season was Forteberry's fifth at SELU after an season-ending injury in December of 2011. He was granted a medical red-shirt for a season where he was averaging 17.6 points per game.
His chances of making the team are none to none given the existing point guard situation but has obviously shown something to the scouts that they want to see more of. There's so little on him though that the only video I could find was from his freshmen season. Even though he's no longer the GM, count this as one of Kevin O'Connor's hipster picks because nobody has heard of this guy.
A day may come when the overenthusiastic frenzy of Jazz fans fails, when we forsake our internet friends and break all bonds of internet connectivity, but it is not this day.
Update from Jody Genessy:
FYI, Brandon Fortenberry will not be participating in the Utah Jazz's training camp.

Sad trombone. No doubt this is a consequence similar to the Big Announcement (scoreboard). /s
