The 2013-2014 Utah Jazz season is coming up. And we fans can't wait. The team is going through new territory for most of our fans, we're not in contention for a title, or even the playoffs. The last time we felt something like this was back after the end of the Stockton - to - Malone era. But we still won 42 games that season. This season . . . we can talk, and stress out over, and argue . . . but at the end of the day more than any previous season before, we're going to have to rely upon youth for not just potential, but also consistent on court production.
It's a brave new world for us Jazz fans. But we're ready for it. We've screamed that we were willing to stick with the hard road for a few years as long as the team was playing smarter, better, and to their collective strengths. We're going to get exactly that team this year. And I will cheer that team all season long -- and I know each of you will as well.
It's September right now, and let us try to have our say. Who should start at each position on the floor? We have our own ideas, some based upon faith, some ideas are based on statistics, and still others are based upon feelings. So, SLC Dunkers, who do you FEEL should start at small forward this season for our Jazz?
