Yup, this comes as no surprise to Utah Jazz fans as potential Rookie of the Year Burke is just killing it this season -- he is also helping us win. As we all know the game isn't Rookies vs. Sophs anymore, it's a player pool where two coaches pick players like a pick-up game.

Previous Jazz players to participate in this type of thing were Deron Williams and Paul Millsap in 2007 (opposite teams); Paul Millsap and Ronnie Brewer in 2008; and Gordon Hayward and Derrick Favors (only as an injury replacement for Tiago Splitter) in 2012; aaaaand that's it. No other guys on the Jazz played enough to be considered for this game back during their rookie contracts. That's a strategic decision in order to 'break them in' like they were horses, and reduce their swagg (aka. Enes Kanter and Alec Burks).

Glad to see Trey is selected. He deserves it. And we wish him all the best!
