Houston Rockets at Utah Jazz Preview: Jazz Jam session with Dream Shake's Ethan R

Let's start jammin'

Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports

Another season, another time to start Jamming with the amazing and handsome bloggers for the other SB Nation NBA sites. Tonight we have the Houston Rockets visiting our mighty Utah Jazz. Jamming with me today is Ethan R, the main man over at The Dream Shake.

Anyway, let's get to it.

1. From what you've seen so far in the preseason (and I guess tonight's game), is Dwight Howard going to dominate this year?

Ethan: Absolutely. People forget he averaged 26 and 13 in the playoffs against the Blazers and absolutely took over games. He looks spry in the postseason and says he feels better than he has at any point since back surgery. I'm expecting a 20-point, 13-rebound, 2.5-block season and MVP consideration. James Harden may take votes from him, but we're ready for a vintage Dwight Howard season.

2. With Trevor Ariza back again, what's going to be different this time around?

Ethan: Our defense should be stingier, he hasn't lost a step on that end. Ariza was forced into being a first option his last go-around, and this time he's the Rockets' fourth, behind Dwight Howard, James Harden and Terrence Jones. He'll be able to take open 3s much like he did as a Wizard last year, and do exactly what the Rockets are paying him to do, nothing more.

3. Favorite Jazz / Rockets playoff game memory you want to share with the class?

Ethan: The last few years when we've made it and the Jazz have picked in the high lottery. Good time.

[Ed. Note: BOOOOOO!!!]

Thanks again to Ethan, and the rest of the good people over at The Dream Shake. Check out their site for my half of the jam session!
