Utah Jazz at New Orleans Pelicans Game Thread: Who Gets a Career High Tonight?

Chris Nicoll-USA TODAY Sports

The Pelicans are coming off of a overtime-loss to the league-best Warriors. The Jazz are coming off of a loss to one of the Eastern Juggernauts in the Wizards.

Tonight they clash for battle and glory as well as the bragging rights that come with the joys of winning a mid-December regular season game. It's winning these seemingly non-headliner games like these that separate elite teams like the San Antonio Spurs from the rest of the league. As our Jazz team continues to grow together on this (probably) long journey towards success again, they must be prepared to bring it against the best in the league as well as middling teams with a crippled/injured superstar.

Honestly, at this point, where the Jazz are tumbling down the standings while losing 11 of their last 12 games, I'll take whatever wins that this team can get. The Jazz are still learning; they are still inexperienced. However, they continue to show exceedingly promising signs that we already have many of the pieces in place to become a powerhouse team. The Jazz just need to continue to gel as well as commit to an effective defensive scheme and/or perhaps make a roster tweak .

But for now, this is our team, and we should continue to fully support them! It pains me to see the sea of green seats in the arena on many nights this year, so start/keep going to games y'all!
