Past Rankings! Week 1, Week 2, Week 3, Week 4, Week 5

Okay, so Week 6 wasn't so hot for the Utah Jazz. They continued their losing streak, and extended it to eight games. Or as Raaaaaaaandy would say: eight gaaaaaaaames. (Warning: NSFW link to Raaaaaaaandy.) They lost to the Denver Nuggets at home in a game they should have won. Then they lost to the Toronto Raptors at home in a game that, man, so much pain. And then they lost to the Orlando Magic at home in a game that, well, they should have won. Again. It wasn't the best week. And honestly, I don't know how many more weeks like this I can take.

SB Nation's Drew Garrison has the Jazz +0 from last week:

25. Utah Jazz (5-15 Last week: 25)

The Jazz keep on tumbling down the Western Conference standings and barely miss falling into the bottom five this week. If there was a terrifying coach rankings, Quin Snyder would have them at the top by a mile:

ESPN's Marc Stein has the Jazz -2 from last week:

26. Utah Jazz (5-15, Last week: 24)

The Jazz have concluded Alec Burks does not need shoulder surgery and now list him as questionable for Monday night's visit to Sacramento. That is the closest thing to good news in Utah since mid-November, thanks to the longest active losing streak out West.

CBS Sports' Matt Moore has the Jazz -4 from last week:

26. Utah Jazz (5-15, Last week: 22)

I get fans being disappointed the Jazz aren't some sort of upstart, but in the Western Conference, what can you expect? They're going to lose games, but they'll be better after a season under Quin Snyder. That should be the priority at this point in the rebuild.

Sports Illustrated's Matt Dollinger has the Jazz -2 from last week:

26. Utah Jazz (5-15, Last week: 24)

Losses hurt, but losing a developing player for the season during a rebuilding campaign stings even more. The Jazz got some good news this weekend that Alec Burks not only avoided season-ending shoulder surgery, but has been cleared to practice and could return as early as Monday.

Yahoo! Sports' Marc J. Spears has the Jazz -1 from last week:

24. Utah Jazz (5-15, Last week: 23)

Kings assistant coach Tyrone Corbin, who was Utah’s head coach from 2011-14, faces the Jazz on Monday for the first time since his contract wasn’t renewed.

NBA.com's John Schuhmann has the Jazz +0 from last week:

26. Utah Jazz (5-15, Last week: 26)

Pace: 92.5 (28), Off RTG: 104.4 (14), Def RTG: 110.4 (28), Net RTG: -6.0 (25)

The Jazz have historically had a better home-court advantage than most teams, and they've played the most home games against opponents who played the night before. But their eight-game losing streak has included six losses at home. Now, they have three tough games before beginning a stretch (Sunday in Washington) where they play 14 of 20 on the road.

This week: @ SAC, vs. SAS, vs. MIA

Yeah.... so a 0-3 (even against really good teams) gives the Jazz a +0, +0, -1, -2, -2, -4 breakdown from the national writers. So five of the six writers have the Jazz at #26 right now. Is that any movement from last year? So the Jazz are solidly in the last third of the league, but there are 4 teams worse than them. Fair? Unfair?
