.

I have no clue what the Utah Jazz are going to do tonight against the Los Angeles Clippers tonight. We may have zero power forwards going up against the team that starts the guy who is the starting PG for the West in the All-Star game. Interesting. We may have zero power forwards, again, needed to point that out.

So, Tyrone Corbin is in a pickle, unless he get some good news on the health department. No Derrick Favors, Marvin Williams, and no Jeremy Evans could mean having to start new Jazzman, the one, the only, Malcolm Thomas. Or, you know, Ty could just start Richard Jefferson at the four.

Hopefully that doesn't happen tonight. But if it does, well, Ty . . .

No, he would just be crazy, but sometimes when you get really bad luck with injuries you have to try something. Hopefully in the two hours until gametime there's some good news on this front. The Clippers are a team fighting for homecourt in the Western conference and have only 3 losses at home. We played last night and then had to get on a plane, and hopefully got some rest.

For the Jazz to make good on their "we're a .500 team" schtick it would mean making a good effort tonight. You kinda need a bounce back game from Trey Burke and Gordon Hayward; after all, Alec Burks can't do it all by himself.

Additionally, I want to see how well Rudy Gobert matches up against their core of athletic, strong, and confident bigmen. Gobert needs to bulk up and improve his mobility, but he has one thing many people do not have -- he's roughly the size of a mountain. And most of the time it's hard to shoot over a mountain.

We're going to need that on defense tonight.

GO JAZZ GO!
