The Utah Jazz love their fans, and really care about the fan experience. It's great news then that there more plans in store to make the in-game experience one of the best in the league. The ESA has selected Boingo Wireless to help with that.
From the press-release:
Boingo Wireless, one of the world’s leading Distributed Antenna System (DAS) and Wi-Fi providers, today announced that EnergySolutions Arena in SLC has selected the company as the exclusive DAS and small cell provider for the arena, home of the NBA’s Utah Jazz basketball team and more than 100 sports and entertainment events each year.
Over the multi-year agreement, Boingo will upgrade and manage a multi-carrier, neutral host DAS system at one of the NBA’s largest arenas, which seats nearly 20,000 fans. Slated to launch before the next Utah Jazz basketball season in fall 2014, fans can look forward to a network that provides a connected game day and event experience with increased coverage and capacity.
Boingo is a leading provider of DAS and small cell networks with many professional and university sport facilities partnerships, including the Chicago Bears’ Soldier Field, University of Arizona’s Stadium, University of Nebraska’s Pinnacle Bank Arena and the U.S. Air Force Academy’s Falcon Stadium and Cadet Field House.
