These playoffs are straight up bonkers! For such a sad Utah Jazz season there is so much great basketball to watch now that the regular season is over. The Indiana Pacers tied up their series with the Atlanta Hawks with a 91-88 win. Thrillsap had a great game in the loss though. The Dallas Mavericks beat the San Antonio Spurs 109-108 on a buzzer beater Vince Carter three pointer. Ridiculous. The Mavs hold the 2-1 lead on the Top seeded Spurs. The Miami Heat had little trouble dispatching the Charlotte Bobcats 98-85 -- and now command a 3-0 lead in the series. And last, but not least, the Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Memphis Grizzlies in Overtime, 92-89, and have tied up the series 2-2 as well.
Sure, we don't have a Jazz team to root for, we do have a number of ex-Jazz players. How did they do last night?

I know the battle we're watching most closely is Fisher / Koufos. In game four Fisher won. But it was close. More seriously, Sap continues to be a beast, an offensive force with three point range. Big Al had one of his most efficient games scoring as well, and got to the line 5 times! He went to the line zero times in the previous two games. But you can tell he's playing hurt. And he was -20 on the court. Yikes. Miami is good. Korver continues to hit the long ball, and nearly had a double double. DeMarre was energy, but Devin didn't have that scoring punch that he usually had. But his team won anyway.
When the playoffs are over I might make a Jazz team out of the players in the playoffs . . . could be fun in 2K.
