NBA Playoffs and/or Lottery seeding roundup -- While you were sleeping April 4th, 2014

All of the good, bad, and meh things that happened in the races we care about.

So now that we're tracking both the playoffs (the usual) and the lotto (the new) we have an expanded "While you were sleeping" schedule to track. Here was all the action from last night:

Wyws_-_favors_good

  • PHX @ POR -- Wow, road win in the Rose Garden Moda Center for Jeff Hornacek 's club. But David Locke told me he wouldn't be any good . . .
  • DEN @ MEM -- Grizz actually won? Wow!

  • ORL @ CHA -- Orlando lost
  • PHI @ BOS -- Boston lost
  • DAL @ LAL -- Los Angeles lost
  • SAC @ GSW -- Sacramento lost, Golden State won

  • MIL @ CHI -- Milwaukee lost, which is good, when coupled with Philly winning
  • DET @ BKN -- Detroit lost, still kinda in striking range of the Jazz
  • CLE @ ATL -- Cleveland lost
  • WAS @ NYK -- New York lost
  • MIN @ MIA -- Wow, T-wolves beat the Heat!

Movers and Shakers:

  1. Boston jumped over Utah for the #4 seed here
  2. New York and Denver lost, while Atlanta won, so Atlanta jumped over those two teams in the opposite direction
