NBA Playoffs and/or Lottery seeding roundup -- While you were sleeping April 5th, 2014

All of the good, bad, and meh things that happened in the races we care about.

So now that we're tracking both the playoffs (the usual) and the lotto (the new) we have an expanded "While you were sleeping" schedule to track. Here was all the action from last night:

Wyws_-_favors_good

  • MIN @ ORL -- Orlando won a game, so, uh, great timing

  • BOS @ DET -- Boston lost, and now they are 1.0 games from the #3 seed

  • TOR @ MIL -- Milwaukee lost again
  • BKN @ PHI -- Philly lost again, so 3 of the 4 teams 'ahead of Utah' lost last night
  • CHA @ CLE -- Charlotte won

Movers and Shakers:

  1. Brooklyn clinched a playoff spot with a win against Philly
  2. Charlotte clinched a playoff spot with a win against Cleveland
  3. Minny dropped down to #14 overall, to get closer to their impending #13 draft pick
  4. I don't think Milwaukee can be caught, but Orlando isn't too far off.
  5. Utah needs to stop winning if they want to be for real
