Per Woj, the Washington Wizards are going to extend their head coach Randy Whittman.

Yikes. Wittman has a coaching win percentage of 36.7%, which is a bit lower than 50.0%. Last season his Wiz won 53.7% of their games, but the Eastern Conference can't be this bad forever, right?
In other coaching news --- Adrian Griffin (first Utah Jazz coaching interview) could interview for the Cleveland Cavaliers job, in an attempt to keep Luol Deng. CLE gets all the people to apply for the job, Tyronn Lue is apparently up for that job too! Lionel Hollins may be a coaching candidate for the Los Angeles Lakers. Memphis Grizzlies coach Dave Joerger was allowed to talk with the Minnesota Timberwolves, but he apparently rejected their offer.
As it stands right now there are coaching vacancies with the Los Angeles Lakers, New York Knicks, Cleveland Cavaliers, Minnesota Timberwolves, and the Utah Jazz. The Golden State Warriors and Detroit Pistons got their coaches signed before the NBA Draft. It's in less than a month from now. Which team will be next?
