I'm so far distracted from the Utah Jazz right now that this is going to be, without a doubt, the worst game thread you'll ever read about tonight's game against the Brooklyn Nets. The Jazz and Nets have an interesting history, from Billy King and Kevin O'Connor's history together (something like 7 trades), to the fact that our former franchise player moved to the big market and never played as well as he did in little ol' Utah.
Starters:
- Jarrett Jack vs. Dante Exum
- Bojan Bogdanovich vs. Joe Ingles
- Joe Johnson vs. Gordon Hayward
- Kevin Garnett vs. Enes Kanter
- Mason Plumlee vs. Derrick Favors (UTA)
Injuries:
- Deron Williams (BKN)
- Mirza Teletovic (BKN)
- Alec Burks (UTA)
- Rodney Hood (UTA)
I have no confirmation on Favors status, but the Jazz media notes do not put him in the starting line-up. No, Derrick will play and start.
Bench:
- Brook Lopez (BKN)
- Sergey Karasev (BKN)
- Markel Brown? (BKN)
- Rudy Gobert (UTA)
- Nelson Muntz voice: "Haw-haw" (UTA)
I am unable to actually watch this game, and a recap of it will happen late.
