Tonight two Jazzy teams face off, the Utah Jazz host the New Orleans Pelicans. The Pellies, when healthy, were supposed to challenge for a playoff spot. The Jazz, on the other hand, look like they are actually on track for one. While Utah has three more wins on the season (or alternatively, five fewer losses), it's not like this game is going to be a push over. The Jazz will be playing without two starters: Derrick Favors and Dante Exum. Furthermore, Rodney Hood is going to give it a go with his injury, and Trey Burke is hurt as well. The injuries are still something New Orleans has to deal with as well; however, Anthony Davis and Jrue Holiday will play. Tyreke Evans, Norris Cole, Kendrick Perkins, and Quincy Pondexter will all still be out.
Injuries, sharing the same home, and being playoff aspirants aren't the only things linking these two clubs . . . they both really don't have a lot of fans.
Man, the Jazz are more popular. That's gotta hurt when the Jazz are more popular than your team.
