Wilt Chamberlain. Mark Eaton. Julius Erving. Pistol Pete Maravich. Moses Malone. Karl Malone. Allen Iverson. John Stockton. Charles Barkley. Adrian Dantley. Dolph Schayes. Truck Robinson. Red Kerr. Deron Williams. None of these guys are playing tonight in the Philadelphia 76ers @ Utah Jazz. These two teams have a combined 14 wins, and it's almost January. Both are injured, carrying injuries from the off-season, and are not playing their best basketball of the season right now. To be fair, Philly won two nights ago when they beat the Phoenix Suns 111-104, but I don't think there's a worse situation right now than what's happening in Philly. Tonight we are going to see Nerlens Noel and Gordon Hayward. And not much else. Joel Embiid and Jahlil Okafor are both out for Philly. And Derrick Favors, Rudy Gobert, Dante Exum, and Alec Burks are out for Utah.
Fun, right? It could be . . . it just depends on how much Joe Ingles you can take.
